What to expect

1) We'll start with a conversation. We'll talk about your symptoms, your goals, your health history, and what you've already tried.2) I'll assess how your body is moving. This may include looking at your posture, movement, and the way your body has adapted over time.
Please bring/wear something that you don't mind being viewed in. (shorts/sports bra/ swimwear)
3) Treatment is gentle. Unlike deep tissue massage/chiropractic, myofascial release uses gentle, sustained pressure to allow the connective tissue to soften and release. Holds are done for several minutes.4) Every session is different. I decide what areas to work on depending on what story your body is telling that day. Pain is often a complex, full body pattern.5) The emotional/energetic component. Because stress is experienced in the body, physical changes can sometimes be accompanied by emotional ones. Not everyone experiences it this way, and there is no right or wrong way.

About me

My name is Savannah and I'm a Myofascial Release Therapist here in Tampa, FL.
I'm passionate about the work that I do because I started as a patient myself and experienced such profound results.
I understand how frustrating it can be to have chronic pain and nothing seems to help. It really affects quality of life.
I love helping people understand and develop a relationship with their bodies so the healing continues even after they get off the table.
My journey healing with MFR has been the best I've ever taken, and it's an honor to help others begin theirs.
